Mission statement

The mission of the Aspire Center for Adolescents and Adults of Moapa Valley is to mentor, coach, develop, support, and empower individuals with significant challenges to help them achieve their highest possible degree of personal well-being and independence.

Aspire provides a multi-faceted program for adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, residing in the towns of Moapa, Logandale, Overton, and the Moapa Band of Paiutes Reservation.

Due to the geographical limitations of Moapa Valley rural community, opportunities for employment and social interaction are limited. Aspire seeks to bridge this gap by providing meaningful opportunities for independence through vocational training, employment and life coaching, and skill-building.

Aspire offers hands-on programs and services that promote independence in activities of daily living through real-life application of basic skills such as cooking, hygiene, and vocational tasks.

Aspire also fosters community inclusion through regular outings, and participation in local events, building friendships, purpose, and a true sense of belonging.
